What we did:
Today in humanities, Ms lees told us that when we had the subsitute we wern't actually supposed to do the chapter 2 pathway notes. Most of us were devestated. She told us we were supposed to do handouts, and the worst part of it was we did notetaking for the double block. Then Ms lees said for some people to show thier examples to show what they did for thier note-taking. So we had four examples and Ms lees checked the examples and told us what we could do better in our note-taking, such as dont copy right from the book. Once we were done with our note-taking Ms lees showed us some videos on youtube about the medieval time because we are reading "There will be wolves".
Why we did this:
We checked our notes because we need to be able to take notes now and in the future because some kids when they take notes they copy word for word from the textbook which isn't good. Which is also plagurism. We watched the videos because It would tell us facts about the Crusades and other mediaval things. We watched videos instead of Ms Less telling us the facts and we would write it down because, its a proven fact taht kids remember better if the video is funny or catchy. (I still remember the Knight song).
Connections and reflections:
Note-taking is important because its important to be able to look at a textbook and pick out all the good information instead of copying the textbook word for word.

finish chp 9 for wed
quiz for chapters on wed
Tips:
reread each chapter to refresh your brain of the chapters
Finish chapter 9 questions on the weekend so you dont have to do them in the week.
