Today in humanities It was a double block
BLOCK ONE: We worked on our note taking skills by working on the text book (we had to do an outline for page 9-20, a web for 21-29 ,) Then for the kids who didn't know how to do time zones Mrs.lees brought up a table and taught them until break
BLOCK TWO: The kids Mrs.Lees were teaching went back to finish the rest of the lesson for five minutes or so. Meanwhile the rest of us were still working on our note taking skills....still waiting for conformance's. For the last twenty minutes we practiced our can spell, Boys Vs Girls heated up in the competition my awesomeness got in the way so I didn't win....neither did the boys. So congrats girls!
Why we did it
The learning intention of Mrs.lees teaching the kids was so they would understand timezone's because you needed that skill for the test (that's coming up on well tomorrow.) The learning intention for the note taking was to improve our note taking skills.
