Today we handed in our diary entries or finished them up during most of the class. If you were done, you would be put in a group that had random roles in the middle ages in them. The hardest part was trying to figure out the role playing. I mean, how can a page, monk, and minstrel meet up at the same place? The play had to be 5-10 minutes long and everyone has to talk.
Why We Did It
We made the diary entries so we can get a basic understanding on researching and writing. This also helps us become better writers. We were put into groups so that we can work on our group skills and oral skills.
COMMENTS/REFLECTIONS/CONNECTIONS
Many people had incomplete diaries so we had to finish some of it in class. The group part was really hard to do because some roles didn't interact with each other. Instead they would be the complete opposite or exactly the same.
