What we did

Block 1: Today was our last day to work on the history webs. After that each one of the members in the group filled out an self evaluation rubric, and a group rubric based on our work habits based on our contribution to the project scoring from one to four, with four being the highest. We also did our reflections and opinions on the project, and a pie chart on how much each person contributed to the project. We stapled our notes on the back of the sheet. All the sheets mentioned were handed in.

Block 2: We watched the video on Ms Lees' blog (http://leeshum8.blogspot.com/). Afterward we took notes, and discussed the types of skills the people in the video had like teamwork, good communication, planning, etc...

Why we did it: We did the rubrics, and pie chart to see how much effort we put into the project . That way everyone will get the mark they deserve. We watched the video and took notes about it because we need to know the importance of oral communication, and being organized. This probably will be in Ms Lees expectations when we are doing future assignments.

Connections and Reflections: The project rubrics, and the pie chart was pretty self explanatory. I found both of them useful because now I have an insight on the things I am strong and weak at. The video was related to what we are doing in class because both require collaboration skill, and teamwork. The video was a very clear example on what we do in humanities can actually apply in real life.

Homework: Complete the rest of the steps on what to do after breaking into separate teams. (watch video for hints, and answers)
